I am so excited to be working at Gunnison Middle School! I graduated from Western State Colorado University in 2006 and began my counseling career at Gunnison High School and Gunnison Valley School in 2008. I received my Master's in School Counseling from Adams State University in 2010 and consider myself a life-long learner. I've also had the opportunity to be a school counselor at an online school (grades 7-12) and hope to utilize my different experiences to create a comprehensive, effective and fun counseling program at GMS. I have a deep appreciation for the kinds of issues that may arise for students during their middle school years and am available to support both students and their families. My husband and I have two boys who also attend schools here in Gunnison. We love to be out exploring in the outdoors, skiing, hiking, biking, fishing, etc. My many passions include running, baking, reading, learning new things, travel and science!
